• Prayer Pursuit – Wed, 11/23 at 7:30pm. Are you thirsting for more God? Would you like to develop a more consistent and passionate prayer life? Join us Wednesdays on Zoom to learn how to make prayer. (https://us09web.zoom.us/j/81485505200)
  
• Sabbath School – Thanksgiving Blessing Bag. Join us at 10am for a special Sabbath School Program highlighting our manna ministry outreach. We will pack blessing bags to those who are in need this holiday season. Light breakfast will be provided!
  
• Thanksgiving Service – Thurs, 11/24 at 10am. Join us as we celebrate thanksgiving as a church family. There is much to say for all that God has done for us in 2022. Come as we share the goodness of God and say thank you!

• Thanksgiving Pie Give-Away! YOU are invited to help us bless our neighbors with Thanksgiving pies. This is the time of year where our church family comes together to show God’s love in this small way to people around. Sign up here or scan QR code below by November 13 for pick up pies right after church on November 20 and connect with a neighbor.

IL Conference Announcements

• Part-Time Art Teacher Wanted! Hinsdale Adventist Academy (HAA) is seeking a part-time Art Teacher to teach art (and possibly photography) to middle and high school  students.  Applicants must enjoy working with students and possess a willingness to serve others. The ideal candidate is able to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment, possess a growth mindset, and inspire students to express the beauty of God’s creation through their own artistic representations. • Music Concert at Rockford SDA Church. Rockford SDA Church will have a concert by Matt and Josie Minikus for Sabbath service on November 19. Their music is a reverent, contemporary folk blend of vocals, guitar, piano, and a variety of other instruments. As songwriters, they are passionate about writing meaningful, thought-provoking lyrics and beautiful melodies. Through their music and stories they seek to help others peer a little deeper into the unfathomable love of God—a love they have personally encountered and been drawn by.
