• 1Day Youth Rally this weekend: 10/28/22 – 10/29/22
  Calling all Illinois Youth! 1Day 2022 is just around the corner, and we’re back with the leadership Conference this year. The 1Day Youth Leadership Conference seeks to inspire, disciple, and equip junior and senior youth to advance the gospel into their life’s context. So, we invite you to join us on October 28^th and 29^th at Hinsdale Adventist Academy as we talk about what it means to be “Here for It!” as a leader not only in your church, but in your day-to-day life. • Thanksgiving Pie Give-Away. YOU are invited to help us bless our neighbors with Thanksgiving pies. This is the time of year where our church family comes together to show God’s love in this small way to people around. Sign up here or scan QR code below by November 13 for pick up pies right after church on November 20 and connect with a neighbor.

IL Conference Announcements

• Health Lecture at Elmhurst SDA Church. The Elmhurst SDA Church will host a health lecture on Sabbath, October 29 from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM. The topic, “Strengthening the Immune System in the COVID Era,” will be presented by Andjela Subotic, ND. Light refreshments will be provided after the presentation to showcase a few immune system-boosting ingredients. The Elmhurst Church is located at 246 W. Butterfield Road, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126.
• North Aurora Seventh-Day Adventist School Fundraiser. You are cordially invited to join us for our annual International Food Festival on Sunday, October 30th from 11:00am-1:00pm. • Music Concert at Rockford SDA Church. Rockford SDA Church will have a concert by Matt and Josie Minikus for Sabbath service on November 19. Their music is a reverent, contemporary folk blend of vocals, guitar, piano, and a variety of other instruments. As songwriters, they are passionate about writing meaningful, thought-provoking lyrics and beautiful melodies. Through their music and stories they seek to help others peer a little deeper into the unfathomable love of God—a love they have personally encountered and been drawn by.
