• Men’s Ministry | Church | September 10 | 8:00 AM. All men are welcome join the Men’s ministry support group. The next meeting is on September 10 at 8:00am at the church. For more information contact J Carlos.

• Funeral Service for Pearl Goliath | Adolf Funeral Home | September 10 | 6:00 PM. We mourn with Uncle Fred Goliath and his family for the loss of his dear wife, Pearl Goliath. There will be a funeral service taking place at Adolf Funeral Home from 6-7pm on Sunday, September 10 . Please continue to keep the Goliath family in your prayers, along with Pearl’s family in South Africa.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Maui Wildfire Relief. As many know, wildfires ravaged the island of Maui in Hawaii and many lost everything to the fires. Over 1000 people still remain unaccounted for still today. The Hawaii Conference is making a coordinated effort to assist those who have been impacted by the fires. If you would like to help the Hawaii Conference respond to this disaster, please donate by clicking here. Giving financially online is the best way to provide immediate relief.

• Community Health Outreach: Volunteers Needed! We are in need of volunteers in all roles! Our church is partnering with the conference and UChicagoMedicine / Advent Health  to host a community health outreach at Bolingbrook High School on October 22 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the needs of the community around us and serve. If you would like to help out, please contact Jason Goliath. 

• Prayer Meeting | Wednesdays | 7:00pm. Join us Wednesdays on Zoom for the blessing of praying together for our community and the mission God has for our church (Click here for the Zoom link | pass code: 601910)

YOUTH MINISTRIES

• First Adventurers Meeting | Church | September 9 | 2 PM. The first Adventurers meeting is next Sabbath at 2pm. Registration is still open. Click here to register your kiddo!

• Sabbath School Breakfast | Church | September 9 & 16. Join us for a light breakfast starting at 10am in the Fellowship hall! We invite all youth ages to come and experience this great time in learning the Word. We will also be collecting items to send to our college students. For more information contact Arlene Martz.

• Youth Saturday Night Vespers | Veal Home | September 9 | 6:30 PM. All youth are invited for Saturday Night Vespers at the Veal’s house. Please be sure to bring camping chairs for bonfire outside. For more information contact Pastor Rodney.

• Adventurer Family Camp | September 15th! Families are welcome to join us for the annual Adventurer Family Camp at Camp Akita from September 15th – September 17th. Use the QR code to complete an Interest Form. See you there!

• Collecting Pathfinder & Adventurer Uniforms. The Adventurer and Pathfinder clubs are collecting gently used Dress Uniforms, Club Shirts, and Club Hoodies. Items can be brought to the church. For questions, contact Cindy Tan, Cessie Ruiz, and Dawn Veal.
